Giveaways! - Endings and Beginnings

Just a reminder that today is the last day to enter to win one of two Kids Vegetable Gardening Kits from Terracycle. Contest closes at midnight tonight and the winner will be announced tomorrow. And don't forget to head over to your local Walmart to see the Terracycle products available only through the end of this month.
In the vein of "when one window closes, another door opens" I am pleased to announce another awesome giveaway. You may recall my recent post about my new love affair with Laundry Tree Soap Nuts and since then I have continued to use Soap Nuts in every room of the house. The solution I made from water, vinegar, and the Soap Nut Soak is my new all purpose cleaner and I love it.
Since transitioning to Soap Nuts, I have gotten more laundry done than ever and everyone in  the house has noticed a difference. Plus, I feel great knowing I am sending only all natural agents into my septic system.
I won a Soap Nut Starter Kit from Easy Eco To Go and I want to pass on the love, so Laundry Tree is going to give one reader a Soap Nut Starter Kit of their own!
In celebration of Earth Day, this giveaway will begin today and close at noon on Thursday. I will announce the winner by the end of the day on Earth Day. The Starter Kit includes The LaundryTree Soapnut Starter Kit contains enough soapnuts and fragrance to wash nearly 40 loads of laundry with SoapNuts:

■-one 100 gram bag of SoapNuts
■-one 1 ounce bottle of essential oils

■-one sample bag to share with a friend!

  1. Hi! I think I would choose orange as a scent.

  2. as for my earth solution: stop forgetting my reusable bags when I go anywhere! I always bring them to the grocery store but forget otherwise. Argh!

  3. I would definitely choose lavender. Though I was intrigued by the "energy blend," I really have more energy than I know what to do with, so I'd go with something calming and soothing.

P.S. I'm also now following you on twitter, which I'm very excited about, as I'm BIG into twitter. I'm ihrtVTmtns:)

  4. Oh...and my earth day resolution (I love that someone is actually "forcing" me to do this) is to be much much better about turning off lights around the house. I tend to leave them on (and drive my other half insane in the process -- so what's good for the earth is also good for the home-life!).

  5. I resolve to grow some of our own food, or at least try! ;)

  6. I think I would choose either the clean cotton or sweet orange oils! I'm leaning towards the sweet orange.

  7. My earth day resolution is that I have signed up for a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture - http://www.localharvest.org/csa/ ) and will also be volunteering at a farmers market. Shop & eat green & local.
